The thin C neck made me a much better player than I usually am ! It really is a wonderful neck shape.Ĭompared to the ES-335, the Casino Worn pratically played itself. The guitar had no strange buzz anywhere, all the hardware felt really solid, action was low, the frets were well-polished and the tone and volume pots worked wonder. The Epiphone P90 Pro pickups sounded great - clarity and chime galore. Its worn finish should be renamed 'Wow!' finish ! It is an absolute delight to hold - so much more comfortable to the touch, non slippery and more resonant than a gloss finish! It basically feels like an extension if your own body. The Casino Worn is a super light, super comfortable guitar despite its big body. I played extracts from a few Beatles, Radiohead and U2 songs that are normally played on a Casino and it sounded heavenly!įurthermore, they let me compare it for a few moments with a beautiful Epiphone ES-335. The very nice staff let me try it with a big Vox tube amp (probably an AC10 or 15). On vacation, I was able to briefly visit a Guitar Center shop (amazing place!) and totally fell in love with an Epiphone Casino Worn!
